The examination season always brings forth the anxiety, tension, pressure, expectations  and stress as complementary gifts with it. Some of us are able to get flying colors and some of us get the crowned title of flunk. But very few students are aware that the hard work when associated with smart work can only bring surety of success.
So is  "I studied 10-12 hours a day" statement the only recipe of success. No, actually the hours when you are sitting in the examination hall managing time, stress and strategizing and giving the best presentation ( for writing of papers) is the thing that segregate the cream from the rest of the hard and studious types.

THE LEADING C-10 of Examination

CONFIDENCE - the most common tendency observed among students is their getting blank just before entering examination hall. Try to retain the confidence and keep chanting the Mantra of "I CAN DO IT, I WILL DO IT, I HAVE TO DO IT"  and take a deep breath retaining this positivity in you.

COMMAND OVER LANGUAGE - Interpretation of question paper containing high thinking skills need excellent command of language. If you are well versed with the language and verbal  skills, application of logic is the next forte to conquer.

COMMON SENSE - There is no substitute to common sense, not even studying. Examination is not meant for parrot and crammers, its for the human to develop thinking ability. Structured Questions belonging to genre of case studies or the one with situation analysis or logical reasoning, your best helping aid is your common sense.

CONCEPTS COGNIZANCE -  The focal point of all studying is to emphasize on threadline concepts. If you are thorough with concepts, than no need to mug up. All we require is the indepth knowledge of the concepts and you could be another julius caesar declaring VINI VIDI VICI in examination hall.

CALCULATION -  Numerical ability subjects like mathematics, accountancy and other requires speedy calculation.

CLARITY - the lucidity in your answers is required for giving best impression upon the examiner, try to clearly express your viewpoints in attractive style using flow charts, diagrams, graphs. After all even a picture is worth a thousand words.

CALM COOL COMPOSITE MIND -  do not be disturbed by other ruffled feathers. Be calm inwardly and outwardly. Anxiety can have negative impact on your psyche.

 - Be cool, do not loose your temper over trivial things during examination.
 -  Arrange your time and writing materials before hand so that you are having composite and conditioned mindset, ready to tackle all the unseen.

COHERENCE - For writing descriptive answers, its important that your answer be coherent and well connected, this is esp. when you are writing Statement of purpose or essay styled question.

CRITICAL THINKING - Descriptive indicators and Case study approaches require the critical thinking, so be sure to weigh every facet of your answers.

CONSCIENCE - another best friend during this time as well as in life is your conscience. Try to be intuitive and do not give to the temptation of using unfair means.

Some additional tips :
Write the answers as if you are the teacher and the evaluator is the student, demonstrate in that time constraint what ever Gyaan (knowledge) you have attained in that whole time duration of session. Be systematic and creative in answer writing skills. Presentation is a pivotal factor here, a beautiful handwriting, with proper KEYWORDS underlined proper spacing between answers, supporting answers with diagrams, flow charts graphs will win you accolades and marks.

REMEMBER: DO NOT GIVE A TREASURE HUNT OF KEYWORDS TO EXAMINERS IN ANSWERS ELSE HE WILL GIVE YOU A MARKS HUNT.
An examiner always checks the answers with the help of key words, headings, and sub heading, the grammatical syntex is not of that significance for subjects other than language.

Examination are fun to deal with, just try changing your perception. Love it and live it, do not give up, surely it will bring best out of you.

So raise your bar and achieve your very own citius altius and fortius
